I decided to try Nuviva a few months before I turned 60. I have gained and lost weight many times in the past, being heavy as a child/teenager, then getting to a better weight in my twenties – only to give birth four times and gain all the weight back, plus some, through each pregnancy. Finally got down to 135 lbs, wearing sizes 4 to 8, depending on style during my 40’s. At 44, I quit smoking and began the wonderful journey through menopause. Well, now nothing was working to take the weight off. I struggled with this on and off until I got on the scale in 2019 and was blown away to find myself weighing in at 273 lbs. At 5′ 3″, not only did I not carry the weight well, but it was draining my physical capabilities. When I found Nuviva, I thought I would try their program. Everyone there was welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging.

In the first week, I was surprised that I actually lost the weight anticipated by the program (between 5 and 10 lbs). After success the first week, the weekly visits were something I looked forward to and, although only a pound or two at a time, the weight kept coming off. The weekly coaching, and the diet changes that the coaching team helped me with was really paying off. The encouragement from the team was so great. It made me feel like I could really get to my goal weight. By three months later, I had lost 60 pounds. By six months it was like a total of 80 pounds. Then I got stuck for a while. I didn’t gain any weight back (thanks to the weekly coaching), but I wasn’t losing either. Then a new game plan was suggested and in a couple of months, I’ve lost another 10 lbs. for a total of 90 lbs. Today, I am 5 lbs away from 100 lbs. total lost. My goal is still 30 – 40 lbs away, but with the continued encouragement and coaching from the team at Nuviva Boca, I know I am going to get there. And … I haven’t even started any exercise program. All of the weight loss has been diet only. I have recommended this program to my family and friends and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a weight loss program that really works. So thank you to my team in Boca and to the developers of this program. I’m healthier, and happier, than I’ve been in a long time.
