I decided to take control of my life!

Earlier this year that I decided to take control of my life and embark on a life-changing transformation. At that point, I weighed more than I had ever imagined, and my health was suffering. But with determination and the support of the amazing team at Nuviva, I can proudly say that I have lost 69 pounds and gained a new lease on life.

Growing up, I had always struggled with my weight. One painful memory stands out from when I was just 10 years old, during a doctor’s appointment where the doctor asked my mom what she was feeding me. That moment left a lasting impact on my self-esteem and only contributed to my weight issues over the years. By the time I reached college, my weight had soared, and it was affecting my physical and mental health. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, borderline diabetes, anxiety, and depression, and my doctor told me that I was morbidly obese. I knew something had to change.

Looking back, I can’t believe how far I’ve come. I’m no longer the sedentary person I used to be; I embrace life with enthusiasm and confidence. I feel like I have an entirely new life, one where I can try on new clothes, meet new people, and enjoy every moment to the fullest. Losing the weight was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. I know I couldn’t have done it on my own, as I had tried and failed so many times before. Thank you Nuviva for believing in me and encouraging me throughout the process.
